Context/Scope: Brazil is the 1rd market in LAC with the ambition to expand considerably TBA share. A new EXEC team is taking place to ensure a robust plan to reach that ambition. Productivity is an important enablement of this growth plan.

Currently Procurement influences a big portion of A&P spend (approx.. 80%) and Procurement is being required by local EXEC to expand our scope and support some initiatives from Commercial A&P and Trade Spend, also support A&P shape management.

Purpose of Role: Support marketing team on Consumer categories management, ensuring best Agencies Ecosystem across Creative, PR, Culture and Experiential).  Act as Procurement ambassador of Global and regional initiatives like Conscious Creation and Virtual Studio to guarantee right performance and remuneration model. Brazil has a particular Media Law that requires special and local strategy in terms of local Agency, however ensuring full connection with Global Media Partner standards and contract agreements.

Functions: Brazil Consumer Leader will handle an estimated spend of USD 50 million across three key main areas: Media & Digital, Creative & Production, Sponsorships, Influencers, PR/Culture

  •  Media: Lead local Media partner and performance, supporting LAC Procurement Leader and Global Procurement team.

  • Digital: Work closely with LAC Procurement leader and other market leaders to ensure the right ecosystem on digital tools and solutions. Potential synergies with GBS area.

  • Creative & Productions, PR/Culture: Apart from ensure the right Agencies Ecosystem, should also work closely to LAC Virtual Studio initiative (Oliver Agency) to reach productivity target.

  • Sponsorships and Influencers: Implementation of a new and strategic WOW for these categories, with performance indicators.

  • Act as the liaison local market dynamics and LAC-wide procurement strategies. Ensure Brazil priorities are aligned and integrated with regional productivity and sourcing initiatives.

  • Unlock Process Barriers Between Suppliers and Market

  • Diagnose and resolve difficulties in the supplier engagement model.

  • Enable more agile, efficient, and clear processes that support speed to market and value creation.

  • Complete Procurement Strategy Across a Complex Market Ecosystem aligned with R&G controls and agenda.

  • Activate the Procurement agenda across a diverse network of suppliers, aligning execution with the 4Cs priorities (Cost, Control, Compliance, and Creativity), while fully supporting Diageo’s Society 2030 sustainability and responsibility goals.
