We are looking for a Production Schedule Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Manager, Production Scheduling and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Establish the production schedule in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by firming, releasing and tracking the flow of work orders
- Serve as a single point of contact to the Manufacturing organization on material availability status for assigned production work centers
- Contribute to the design of digital scheduling tools and automation processes to streamline scheduling activities.
- Drive transaction discipline to ensure manufacturing reports each milestone operation in the ERP system and track timely review and close of work orders.
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with material availability, labor capacity, and customer delivery requirements.
- Partner with IT and Continuous Improvement teams to develop data-driven solutions for workflow optimization and predictive scheduling.
- Monitor the integrity between engineering and manufacturing Build of Materials (BOMs)
- Review and approve engineering change orders, planning BOMs and deviation requests
- Conduct daily/weekly production meetings to communicate plan updates and schedule adherence.
- Track the accuracy of manufacturing routing and work closely with manufacturing engineers on the optimization of all routing steps and standard operations
- Monitor work order aging in the ERP system and continuously drive for reductions in Work in Progress (WIP) inventory
- Collaborate with all functions to ensure buy-in and adherence to the production schedule
- Contributor to the implementation of all materials affected on Engineering Change Notices
- Leverage advanced data analytics skills for extracting and analyzing large data sets.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities in production performance.
- Monitor work order progress and proactively identify bottlenecks or constraints impacting output.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to align build plans with demand
- Some flexibility to work off shifts may be required depending on business needs
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Industrial Engineering
- American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Production Planning and/or Scheduling
- Experience using Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems and MES systems highly desirable
- Experience using Planning / Scheduling software or similar high level tools highly desirable
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with Excel experience and attention to details
- Ability to work cross-functionally to develop best solutions for the company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Self-starter with ability to complete activities with minimal direction
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours per shift
- Navigate the facility throughout the day
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 15 pounds
- Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection, computer editing and review of digital/printed materials
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation

Salary Ranges:
$73,000.00 - $105,000.00
