As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
As Manufacturing Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborating with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Conducting time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Developing and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Training and supporting production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or Diploma with proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English and Italian
Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.
