As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.

As Manufacturing Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Collaborating with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.

  • Conducting time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Developing and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Training and supporting production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or Diploma with proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Fluent in English and Italian

  • Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus

  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.
