Quality Engineer (Warranty and Aftercare)

What you’ll do as a Quality Engineer:

  • Manage and analyse field warranty performance, identifying trends, failure modes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead customer‑raised NCR investigations, ensuring timely containment, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to gather evidence, validate issues, and resolve quality concerns effectively.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, corrective actions, and warranty data within the QMS.

  • Provide quality inputs to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate investigation outcomes and improvement actions to customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

You are:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or technical environment, with strong problem‑solving and investigation skills.

  • Demonstrated capability in leading NCR investigations, performing structured root‑cause analysis, and driving effective corrective actions.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, warranty trends, and technical information to support decision‑making.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in customer‑facing discussions and presenting investigation outcomes.

  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001 principles, QMS processes, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Production, Service, and Supply Chain teams, influencing actions to resolve quality issues.
