Position Summary

Hands-on Manufacturing Operations Supervisor leading a team of 10–15 technicians in a high-volume fab environment. Responsible for executing production strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, and output. Collaborates cross-functionally and communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, from shop floor to senior leadership. Focused on building and developing high-performing teams through strong leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

Strategic

  •  Perform strategic inventory analysis and execute targeted line management initiatives that optimize WIP flow, mitigate bottlenecks, and support on-time output and revenue fulfillment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing line efficiency and reducing cycle time (DPML), contributing to key operational KPIs at the shift and area level.

  • Develop and deliver clear technical communications — including on shift escalations and shift issue summaries— that translate floor-level insights into actionable visibility for leadership and drive informed decision-making.

Tactical

  • Monitor and respond to high-priority production issues — including NPI delays, lookahead issues, DPML concerns, and output risks — taking swift corrective action and escalating to management with the appropriate urgency to ensure timely resolution.

  • Partner daily with cross-functional teams — including Product Operations, CAPA, and Fab Engineering & Support teams— to resolve WIP flow issues, support capacity planning discussions, and align on tool PM/BM strategies.

  • Leverage manufacturing automation systems and digital tools to monitor WIP flow, identify line issues in real time and drive data-informed decision making to maintain shift performance and operational efficiency

Administrative

  • Lead and develop a team of 10–15 manufacturing personnel, including performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning aligned with Fab goals and operational excellence standards.

  • Actively foster an inclusive, accountable team environment by identifying development opportunities, recognizing performance, and empowering personnel to grow within their roles and advance within the organization.

  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization — from front-line manufacturing personnel to senior leadership — ensuring alignment and timely information flow across shifts

Expected Hours of Work:

The position is full-time and based on a Compressed Work Week schedule. The schedule calls for a 12 Hour shift alternating between 3 and 4 days per week (Sunday through Tues and every other Wednesday). The employee may need to provide occasional off-shift support, depending on business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or related technical field is required

  • 2-year minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management​
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred
  • 5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers as well as during upper management presentations

The current base salary range for this role is between $96,000 - $124,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
