The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is a leadership position critical to the success of our manufacturing operations team. You will lead and motivate a team of professionals setting goals and driving achievement. You will manage cell productivity, guide scheduling & sequencing of work, and foster a collaborative, achievement driven environment. You will approach each day with a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for innovations optimizing production. 

Well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and allocate resources are foundational for success in this role. You will utilize active listening, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues while working under pressure. What You Will Do

  • Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. 

  • Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. 

  • Plans and executes scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules. 

  • Guides the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity. 

  • Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations. 

  • Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity. 

  • Guides production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities. 

  • Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service. 

  • Ensures all employees are adhering to the Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies. 

  • Executes production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments. 

  • Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management. 

  • Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates 

  • Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions. 

  • Leads and conducts meetings / reviews and prepares information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.

  • LEAN certification 

  • SAP Proficiency. 

  • STEM degree.

  • Proven ability to lead difficult conversations and communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven active listening and critical thinking skills. 

  • Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
