Schedule: 1st Shift working Monday- Friday, with flexibility as needed
Work Location: 2000 American Italian Way, Columbia, SC
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $73k to $124k Annually with additional bonus potential

Roles & Responsibilities
Work with managers, supervisors, and leads on training new employees and new equipment training.
Plan and schedule training including agendas and participants.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.
Develop a competent workforce by utilizing hands-on training methods in the work area.
Document and identify trends involving employees, tools or jobs/tasks having problems with meeting performance expectations.
Schedule training time with employees needing additional training and document.
Maintain training records.
Develop and revise training materials i.e., Playbooks, OPL’s (One Point Lessons) Skills Element Tree.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of training experience with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly
Competent in use of audiovisual equipment
Strong interpersonal and facilitator skills, exhibiting patience and dedication
Strong analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently with demonstrated people and project leadership experience
Ability to work across multiple shifts to meet the needs of a 24/7 operating environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicate with all levels of the company in a fast paced environment
Ability to deal with stressful situations calmly and exhibit good judgement; adhering to safety practices;
Must have a solid mechanical aptitude combined with technical training and/or the equivalent in manufacturing experience (preferably in food manufacturing).
Train Trainers in effectively delivering and developing training material for employees, as appropriate
Demonstrate creative troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Coordinate and maintain equipment and materials used in training
Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
Additional Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production schedules, technical procedures, and reports. Ability to write reports and calculate efficiencies for production reporting requirements.
Utilize needs assessment to identify gaps and use information to develop, implement, and adapt training content and methods
Produce high quality content utilizing hardware, software, and visual aids, aligning delivery methods to complexity of information and audience
Use OEM resources and subject matter experts to build technical training for equipment
Facilitate training to the intended audience ensuring information is understood, including adjustments for literacy levels, languages, and learning styles as possible
Maintain knowledge of contemporary training and development methods, including knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of technical writing.
Distill technical concepts and operations into training appropriate to the intended audience
Ensure training materials meet relevant organizational and statutory policies, including but not limited to, safety and employment laws
Collaborate with Operational leaders across the site to increase information sharing, performance support, and training delivery skills
Coordinate with Site leaders to understand training needs and influence the training and development agenda and objectives
Lead Training Resources to produce written information; verify and confirm facts; Revising training materials to keep up with process improvements.
