Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Composites product line at our Union, West Virginia facility. In this role, you will work in a unionized manufacturing environment, supporting both legacy aerospace programs and new product introductions while driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and production capability. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in aerospace composite manufacturing, working closely with cross-functional teams and production personnel while developing skills that can lead to future technical leadership or project management opportunities within Collins Aerospace. This role may be eligible for relocation.

  • Manufacturing Bill of Materials & Router Creation/Maintenance
  • Manufacturing Instruction Creation and Maintenance within designated area
  • Engineering Change Order/Manufacturing Change Order Review
  • Development of Manufacturing Process improvements improving capacity and throughput
  • Capital Project Execution
  • Works autonomously with limited supervision within a team and alongside production personnel
  • Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of elastomerics, composites, engineered fabrics, machine programing and general manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience with SAP ERP

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
