Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment as per schedule.

  • Assist engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.

  • Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization in maintenance processes.

  • Manage spare parts inventory (min/max levels), supplier ordering, and follow‑ups for receipt.

  • Coordinate internal and external preventive maintenance (PM) activities.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment breakdowns.

  • Communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders on a periodic basis.

  • Release work orders and update status in HxGen (PM tool).

  • Liaise with suppliers for equipment breakdown support.

  • Support the MPE team in the purchase of new equipment, jigs, and instruments.

  • Provide support for AR and Sub‑AR activities.

  • Assist in equipment qualification activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Desired Qualification

  • Experience working with automation systems, PLCs, sensors, or control systems.

  • Familiarity with TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to address complex equipment issues.

  • Experience using CMMS or digital maintenance systems (e.g., HxGen, SAP PM, Maximo).

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and quality.
