Salary Range: $150144 - $195190 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Manpower, Manning, and Personnel Director N1 for the Force Manpower, Manning and Personnel Readiness Directorate of NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.

Major Duties:

  • You will direct, coordinate, and oversee the work of subordinate supervisors, team leaders and/or contractors of six divisions at the Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) Headquarters.
  • You will be responsible for carrying out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and communicating support of these policies to subordinates.
  • You will coordinate, collaborate with numbered Fleets and personal stakeholders; and prepare analytical products and proposal packages for internal and external review.
  • You will plan, develop, implement and administer information to Forces Fleet Manpower, manning and personnel management procedures and policy.
  • You will ensure all higher echelon organizational programs, plans and policies are integrated into the overall Information Force plan of operation.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares work completion schedules.
  • You will prepare analytical products and proposal packages for internal and external review at the Flag/SES level.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Applying comprehensive knowledge of workforce planning, staffing, and personnel management policies, regulations, standards, methodologies, and strategic objectives to plan, develop, and administer large-scale personnel programs within a complex organization; 2) Demonstrating expert knowledge of workforce management principles, practices, methods, and techniques to design, implement, and oversee manpower and staffing strategies that support organizational performance and long-term capability requirements; 3)Exercising advanced leadership, decision-making, analytical, and evaluative skills to direct complex system integration efforts, conduct organizational and operational assessments, and improve management processes and workforce effectiveness.;4) Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex workforce planning and staffing challenges by developing alternative solutions and implementing data-informed strategies to enhance efficiency, accountability, and organizational outcomes.
