You will be part of the Capability Development team in the People Matters Division of the National Library Board (NLB). You will plan, review, develop and implement learning, career development and talent development policies, processes and programmes to build a skilled, adaptable and future-ready NLB workforce.

[What you will be working on]

  • Develop, review and implement leadership and talent development programmes
  • Manage scholarship and sponsorship awards, and assist with related queries
  • Engage scholars, high potential officers and leaders to discuss their development plan and deployment opportunities
  • Work closely with the Line Divisions and Senior Management in the identification, development and deployment of scholars, high potential officers and leaders
  • Drive the capability development of 1-2 domain areas, and work with the Line Divisions to develop strategies, learning initiatives and design programmes to address capability gaps in these areas

[What we are looking for]

  • Preferably 3-7 years of relevant working experience in learning and/or talent development
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Resourceful and able to solve problems creatively
  • Able to multi-task and deliver in a dynamic work environment
  • Good team player

The successful candidate will be appointed on a 2-year contract.
