Position Summary:
Program responsibility for industrialization of Infotainment or Acoustic Programs in manufacturing locations. Key focal point for manufacturing readiness for product validation, customer run at rate, and new product launch start of production.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Project Manager Industrialization.
- As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead team of process and test engineers to ensure successful industrialization of automotive projects that launch in multiple global manufacturing sites.
- Lead multiple complex projects simulataneously
- Plan and manage project capital budget, time schedule, resources for single and multi-site industrialization projects.
- Active customer alignment with respect to schedules, capacity and quality.
- Analyze, control and start corrective actions to achieve the project objectives.
- Work with Product Design to develop products for high quality cost efficient manufacturing processes.
- Lead manufacturing RFQ process for new business providing capex requirements and labor times.
- Ensure the industrialization process is followed to ensure on-time launch with meeting KPIs of throughput, labor rate, capital cost, and quality levels.
- Act as an OEM-project interface to Program Management, Manufacturing, Production Quality and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
- Ensure transparent reporting to Program Management, Operations Management and OEM-customers.
- Mentor other industrialization project managers and project PMs.
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor and/or Master degree, Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
- 3+ years related experience in project/line management.
- Experience in industrialization and/or production of automotive electronic/acoustic products.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, MS Project and SAP.
- Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management especially to planning and controlling.
- PMI certification or desire preferred.

- Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
- Willingness to work in an office.
- Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test.
