The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

Manager, Workforce Intelligence Project Manager

This individual contributor project management role will be pivotal in implementing and managing execution of strategic initiatives that drive RTX’s success. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives related to workforce skills, which align with the company's strategic workforce objectives. Through active engagement and collaboration with business unit (BU) partners and stakeholders, and Workforce Intelligence (WFI) this position will ensure on time and successful delivery of project and program outcomes for the RTX employee skills program

This position reports directly to Associate Director, Workforce Intelligence.

What You Will Do

  • Manage complex, enterprise-wide projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans in partnership with project team, including timelines, milestones, decisions, accountabilities, and risk mitigation.
  • Documents and records delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule.
  • Fosters accountability from project team stakeholders.
  • Performs critical path analysis and prepares and implements contingency plans with project team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level updates, dashboards, and presentations on initiative progress and impact.
  • Conducts meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
  • Manage scheduling and content planning for recurring and ad hoc project meetings, ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved.
  • Establish project communication cadence that enables regular and productive collaboration for Workforce Intelligence and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Monitor project metrics and data to provide analytical and actionable insights for senior and executive leaders, including monitoring project budget.
  • Implement data-driven decisions to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications You Must Have ​

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Prior project management experience managing multi-workstream projects.
  • Prior experience building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Some background or experience in Human Resources or Learning.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating agility and flexibility.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and managing risk decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation/change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to aggregate and utilize data to influence decisions.
  • Demonstrates project management skill sets with a continuous improvement and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated experience generating professional, impactful and persuasive presentations that effectively communicate to multiple audiences, including senior and executive leaders.
  • Deep project management and organization skills, with the ability to deliver timely, quality projects, including overseeing multiple projects at the same time.
  • PMP Certification
  • CORE Apprentice or Champion (RTX)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
