JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Manage SJM and ARDX Legal entity tax compliance, litigation, tax reporting enabling the organization to meet its tax obligations and objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular tax compliance : Tax audit, tax computation, tax return and overall compliance activity including TDS, Advance tax installment working, tax refunds, etc.
- Transfer Pricing : TP filing, Segment P&L, TP subvention, Master File, TP assessments and litigation
- Tax litigation : Regular assessments, Appellate proceedings, rectifications, appeal effect, collation of details for assessment and appeal purposes.
- Year-end activities : March year-end current tax and deferred tax working, Contingent tax liability, RPP analysis
- Corporate reporting : Litigation reporting, Sept-Soft close and Dec-Hard close corporate reporting activities including current tax and deferred tax etc.
- Annual activities : Lower tax Deduction Certificate, March year-end cut-over activities for TDS and TCS compliance, MSME payments
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations, to understand how they impact the organization’s operations.
- Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, external tax agencies and tax authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Commer graduate and Chartered Accountant
