Job Description
Vanderlande's Supply Chain Center North America (SCC NA) is responsible for the supply of equipment & services for material and baggage handling systems in USA, Canada and Mexico.
The Supply to Projects Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative processes of the PM Supply, Execution Coordinators and Network Supply Planners of SCC NA. In close cooperation with the other Supply Chain management teams, you are tasked with continuous improvement of goods being supplied according to the requirements of our projects throughout the complete lifecycle of a Project. The Supply to Projects Team Leader is crucial for ensuring flexible execution of projects through a strong supply chain, focusing on quality, capacity, short lead times, on-time delivery, competitive prices, high flexibility, and committed suppliers. To be successful as Team Leader you should be able to manage and optimize Supply to Project activities and processes.
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):
- Leadership and Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development opportunities
- Leadership and Team Development; Identify human resources needs, recruit with integrity, hire talented individuals and manage the growth and performance of the team members
- Leadership and Team Development: Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet department productivity and quality goals
- Leadership and Team Development: Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure alignment on goals, progress, and any issues that need addressing.
- S&OE: Monitor project supply plans to ensure alignment between S&OP and S&OE, while considering the changes is inventory and supplier capacity.
- Delivery Planning: Monitor “On Time” performance and quickly respond to and manage unforeseen issues that arise in daily operations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including projects teams, supply chain departments, and management.
- Reporting: prepare and present detailed reports on supply chain performance, budget evaluations, project updates, and escalations with proposed solutions.
- Cost Monitoring: Monitor planned cost versus latest estimate, and actual cost versus latest estimate.
- Budget Evaluation: Evaluate and report on budget, including over- and underrun
- Global Process Alignment: Create and implement global alignment for processes and ways of Working (WoW)
Required Education and Experience:
- High level of organization and detail oriented
- Minimum of 5-8 year of relevant work experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Experience in project management and managing supply chain projects from inception to completion.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of company strategies
- Experience in leading and managing a team

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel:
This position requires up to 25% travel.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will manage a team of execution consisting of PM Supply, Supply Execution Coordinators, and Network Supply Planners.
