Responsible for business operations for the Mission Next (MNX) Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization, which includes GSC Strategy & Strategic Sourcing for the Mission Systems sector, as well as direct GSC support for the Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) and Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) organizations.  The successful candidate will be highly proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, a strong communicator, and will have a record of delivering high quality, timely results.    

This is an onsite position located in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Material receipts: forecasting, tracking, and driving to targets
  • Managing action items
  • GSC metrics tracking and reporting
  • Budget and headcount planning/tracking
  • Key priorities status tracking
  • Preparation of slides for executive presentations
  • Managing data calls
  • Ensuring appropriate GSC coverage at major capture and program reviews
  • Managing meetings, site visits, and other events
  • Supporting team-wide communications
  • Shared folder and website maintenance   

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with at least a minimum of 8 years in project management, program management, supply chain, operations, business management or other relevant experience OR Master’s degree with at least 6 years in project management, program management, supply chain, operations, business management or other relevant experience
  • 5+ years leading teams/people either direct or indirect
  • Project management experience
  • Experience forecasting and managing financials
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA
  • Prior supply chain planning experience, including material receipts forecasting, GSC metrics reporting, and proposal preparation
  • Earned Value experience as a Control Account Manager
  • Experience preparing Estimates at Completion  
  • Experience working in Manufacturing, Engineering, GSC, Quality/Mission Assurance, and/or Business Management
  • Current and/or Active DoD Secret level

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,300.00 - $228,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
