Job Description:

Role Overview

The role supports the Managing Director, Head of Private Markets in advancing significant private markets investment initiatives, optimizing portfolio management processes, and ensuring efficient operations across investment teams. This position provides critical project oversight, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and helps drive the execution of the firm’s private markets strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Project Management of Major Initiatives
    • Design the implementation of complex initiatives involving multiple teams, organizations over significant time periods.
  • Major Initiative Implementation
    • Own the implementation of significant initiatives, ensuring that teams accomplish objectives.
  • Corporate Development Initiatives
    • Lead preliminary quantitative and qualitative analysis of inorganic opportunities
    • Analyze how to expand TDAM's private market capabilities
  • Meeting Agendas and Materials
    • Prepare and coordinate agendas and materials for key meetings,
  • Private Market Goals
    • Monitor progress toward TDBG private market AUM goals and annual private markets team objectives.
  • External Speeches & Presentations
    • Design and coordinate Investor Days and Internal Team Days
  • CRM Management
    • Track & manage relationships with senior investors, partners and other groups globally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in private markets investing, investment management, or a leadership/project management role within private equity, real assets, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated understanding of private markets strategies, fund structures, and portfolio construction.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in an investment context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex financial information for diverse audiences.
  • Highest integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial and strategic information.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, investment analytics, and industry-standard software tools.

Reporting: Managing Director, Head of Global Fund Operations

Working Model

  • Monday – Thursday in office with in office presence required on occasional Fridays

Occasional travel required – anticipated at ~5 roundtrips annually
