Position Overview:

The Americas Pre-Sales Team Leader defines the strategic direction and drives operational excellence for the pre-sales function, leading by example in customer engagement, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration. Leveraging strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and deep risk and audit domain knowledge, they actively contribute to complex opportunities while guiding the team in developing compelling solution strategies that support revenue growth and regulatory alignment.

They build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing pre-sales team, modelling accountability, professionalism, and customer focus. By fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and process improvement, they enhance win rates and overall sales effectiveness. As a trusted partner to Sales, Product, and Delivery teams, the leader optimizes pre-sales operations, champions best practices, and ensures consistently high-value engagements that address risk, strengthen governance outcomes, and drive client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set Strategic Direction & Lead by Example – Define and execute the vision for the Americas pre-sales function, actively leading complex customer engagements and modelling excellence in solution design, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide Deep Risk & Audit Expertise – Leverage strong domain knowledge in risk, audit, and governance to shape solution strategy, strengthen value positioning (including Governance-focused offerings), and ensure alignment with regulatory and market demands.
  • Drive Revenue & Win-Rate Performance – Partner closely with Sales to qualify opportunities, develop account strategies, contribute to forecasting accuracy, and increase pipeline conversion through high-impact demos, proposals, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Develop Compelling Value Propositions – Lead and contribute to the creation of differentiated messaging aligned to market trends and customer priorities, ensuring consistency across RFPs, presentations, and field enablement materials.
  • Build & Develop a High-Performing Team – Create individualized development plans, oversee onboarding and training, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Strengthen Cross-Functional Alignment – Collaborate proactively with Product Management, Marketing, Services leadership, and the global SE organization to ensure solution readiness, effective field communication, and continuous improvement in customer experience.
  • Optimize Pre-Sales Operations & Reporting – Oversee the accuracy of SE reporting, deliver actionable insights to leadership, and implement scalable processes and tools that enhance efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Lead Process Innovation & Strategic Initiatives – Drive ongoing process optimization and spearhead large cross-functional initiatives that advance the objective of building a world-class, customer-centric pre-sales organization

Required Experience/Skills 

  • 5+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strategic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong results focus.
  • Ability to lead effectively through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Confident presenter able to engage Directors, VPs, and C-level executives

 

Pay Range
$131,000$164,000 CAD
