About the Role

This role sits within Group Distribution Office and is the centre of excellence for distribution reporting process. This role delivers value to AIA by facilitating management decision-making process with timely, accurate and insightful reports and analysis. Candidate should be comfortable handling data as well as coordinating with multiple stakeholders and being able to communicate the data in layman terms on a day-to-day basis. Support GDO to manage annual Strategic Planning and Drive the annual budget setting process.

Roles and Responsibilities

Timesheet/Expense Reporting

  • Drive expense excellence in Group Distribution across all channels to ensure accurate reporting of expenses and accruals. Manage and ensure maintenance of strict reporting disciplines (including plans, tracking, documentation, reporting and budgets).
  • Regular calculation and update of GD’s Demand Led costs and handle querries.
  • Cooperate with Group Technology and Group Distribution colleagues to develop and test timesheet automation on Power Apps.

Strategic Planning and Budgeting

  • Support Group Distribution Office to manage the annual strategic planning process.
  • Manage the timeline and meetings for the strategic plan review sessions with Group Chief Distribution Officer and Channel CEOs.
  • Consolidate strat plan slides and reported figures across all LBUs.
  • Drive the annual budget setting process in Group Distribution in collaboration with the channel counterparties and Group Finance.

GD SteerCo and Group Exco Meetings Management

  • Manage meeting schedules and participants.
  • Collect, consolidate and review meeting slides.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in accounting, management reporting, or finance system
  • Experience in finance system and process transformation, business intelligence
  • Self-starter, creative thinking, proactive, enthusiastic and a team player.
  • Takes ownership and accountability.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Collaborative and good team player
  • Good communication skills in English
