Job Description

As an authority in the Digital Procurement space, the Sr Digital Procurement Manager uses their in-depth understanding of the source-to-pay digital landscape to develop and implement Procurement’s global digital strategy. Through collaboration with internal and external partners, this individual will own the creation of a multi-year technology roadmap and lead the identification, qualification & deployment of technology solutions, while driving digital transformation across the company.

What will you do?

  • Engage across the Global Procurement team and with external parties to understand business needs, assess the digital market, and formulate technology requirements in a multi-year digital roadmap
  • Lead cross-functional councils to assess, prioritize, and govern technology solutions, inclusive of SaaS, AI, and automation
  • Design and develop the future state technology landscape, including people, process, data and technology, and obtain support from leadership
  • Provide guidance, ensure business needs are met, and ensure alignment with project leadership teams for the development of solutions
  • Lead the delivery and implementation of innovative digital procurement solutions, ensuring adoption across the organization to enhance procurement processes and decision making
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness through digital solutions, ensuring that technology optimally supports Procurement’s strategic goals
  • Define the future phases of technology solutions by collaborating with end users to prioritize requirements, align on expected outcomes, and deliver results according to the project plan
  • Lead change related to implementation of new systems and processes, including planning, influencing business leaders, and development of training
  • Lead technology deployments and project resources
  • Proactively discover opportunities and priorities for process improvements, system standardization, and increased adoption related to core procurement technology
  • Lead efforts with the business to develop business justifications related to new technology investments
  • Scan market to understand external technology trends and identify and assess available technology solutions over a 3-5 year horizon
     

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in business, IT, finance, engineering or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 8 years experience the Procurement technology space
     

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to translate business challenges into people, process, data, and technology solutions
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to efficiently organize forums and coordinate communication with team members
  • Excellent communication skills for structuring ideas in a clear and concise manner with technical and functional partners are various levels of the organization
  • Consistent track record in leading, delivering, and realizing the business value of digital procurement transformations
  • Experience with digital transformation, process automation, and technology management
  • Ability to influence without direct management and lead change across the function
  • Experience in matrixed project management
  • Robust project management skills and capabilities (Gantt charts, dashboards, key deliverables, business justification development)
