We are actively seeking a SAP Business Solutions Manager (Latin America). This is a hybrid position (São Paulo office).

Position Summary

The SAP Business Solutions Manager – Latin America (LATAM) is responsible for ensuring SAP product compliance with complex tax and regulatory requirements across the LATAM region, with a primary focus on Brazil. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams, managing product backlogs, priorities, and delivery timelines to ensure legislative compliance and maximum client value.

This position provides deep SAP product and functional expertise, translating evolving tax and regulatory requirements into actionable user stories, designs, and test strategies within an Agile (Scrum) environment. The role oversees SAP LATAM Business/Functional Analysts and partners closely with Development, QA, Support/AMS, Professional Services, Sales, and global leadership teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and timely product updates.

The SAP Business Solutions Manager follows tax and regulatory changes end-to-end—from discovery through successful implementation and client delivery—ensuring mission-critical enterprise applications remain compliant. This role reports directly to the Director, Business Solutions – LATAM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage SAP LATAM teams to ensure total product compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations through the analysis of each tax and legislative change and production of User Story and Design detailing the impact to a specific SAP module and the impact the change will have from a overall process perspective ensuring the team has successful development and delivery of tax and regulatory updates for LATAM for our clients.

  • Own and manage SAP LATAM products to maximize value by developing business cases and prioritizing epics, themes, and stories aligned with product strategy and legislative deadlines.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, client-facing end-user documentation that clearly explains system functionality and business process impacts, suitable for Sales and Marketing use.

  • Partner closely with Support/AMS and Professional Services leadership to address GPD-related issues, including escalated client cases, from triage through resolution.

  • Support senior leadership initiatives including promotion of standardization of processes globally.

  • Support Sales cycle by acting as a Product/Process SME for SAP LATAM clients.

  • Support On-boarding of new clients to ensure a successful transition to our products.

  • Collaborate with Development and QA Management Team with planning activities related to product specific Tax & Regulatory updates (i.e., bundle scheduling, project planning and tracking, etc.).

  • Define, communicate, and maintain the SAP LATAM product vision with internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Maintain strong, professional communication with clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into product planning and execution.

  • Provide a forward-looking roadmap through sprint reviews, product roadmaps, and a well-prioritized backlog to meet compliance and delivery commitments.

  • Lead SAP Business/Functional analysts and coordinate development teams to determine scope and priorities for product development cycle.

  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver complete, innovative, and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.

  • Lead, manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management for product.

  • Ensure product defects are fully analyzed, root cause identified, and corrective action identified.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Support, AMS, Professional Services, and global leadership teams.

  • Assist with or produce client educational information, presentations, webinars, etc., using a variety or tools and communication modes.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive SAP experience across multiple functional modules, including HR/Payroll, Finance (FI/CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Global Trade Services (GTS), supporting complex enterprise environments.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP in LATAM, with deep functional and regulatory expertise in Brazil, including country-specific tax, payroll, and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and translate complex tax and regulatory legislation into SAP system requirements, user stories, functional designs, and end-to-end business process impacts.

  • Demonstrated experience managing SAP product or solution portfolios in a compliance-driven environment, ensuring timely delivery of regulatory updates aligned with legislative deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how tax and regulatory changes impact upstream and downstream systems across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Trade.

  • Fluent Portuguese and English required; Spanish is a plus

  • Ability to work closely with development to ensure adherence to acceptance criteria and to work with QA team to develop high level test plans and test strategies

  • Product Ownership Experience in Agile environment, preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited institution

  • Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish as a plus.
