Job Description:

What will you work on?
The Sales Strategy and Planning Manager at Spin Master will be instrumental in driving our company's growth, development, and achievement of strategic objectives. This position designs, implements, and optimizes sales strategies and processes to achieve business objectives, working closely with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient sales operations and growth. This role involves strategic planning, data analysis, forecasting, and operational execution to set targets, manage territory assignments, and drive the overall rhythm of the sales business.


How will you create impact?

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, business objectives, and commercial plans that align with company goals.
  • Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Operational Planning: Develop integrated target-setting processes, create operational standards, and define account segmentation and territory assignments.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, sales participation, propensity to buy, white space, etc.)
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Build and maintain sales forecast models, conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement robust systems and processes to improve sales team efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales leaders, finance, marketing, product development, and other functional teams to ensure strategy alignment and successful execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), build reports, and monitor business health to identify areas for improvement.
  • Rhythm of the Business (ROTB): Drive the cadence of strategic planning, business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual), and sales forecast calls to ensure consistent progress.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, MBA highly desired.
  • Experience in SAP is highly advantageous
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
