The Manager Risk Strategy, Insights & Innovation supports the design, enhancement and embedding of the future state risk architecture for LGT Wealth Management in Australia. The role focuses on integration with LGT Group, data‑driven insight and a coordinated assurance approach across all non‑financial risk types.
Design and embed LGT Wealth Management Australia’s future‑state enterprise risk architecture
Integrate local risk frameworks with LGT Group methodologies and systems
Drive risk technology, data and GRC enablement to enhance insight and reporting
Deliver forward‑looking, thematic risk insights to senior management and Boards
Support a coordinated enterprise assurance approach across first, second and third lines
Lead development of risk taxonomies, data standards and reporting frameworks
Partner with business, transformation and Group stakeholders to enable safe, sustainable growth
Contribute to high‑quality executive and Board risk reporting and governance
Build capability through training, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives
Proven experience in risk, compliance or assurance, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, assurance practices and risk culture
Experience across material non‑financial risk classes (e.g. operational, conduct, third‑party, regulatory)
Hands‑on experience with GRC systems and data‑driven risk reporting
Ability to translate Group risk frameworks into fit‑for‑purpose local application
Experience developing policies, dashboards, reports and thematic risk insights for senior audiences
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across business, Group and assurance teams
Clear, confident communicator able to convey complex risk concepts simply
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline
Exposure to AI‑enabled tools and analytics
