Main responsibilities:
- Timely and Accurate Reporting: Ensure the preparation and submission of financial reports in full compliance with the Ayvens Group Accounting & Reporting Manual, maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
- Execution of Internal Controls: Design and execute internal controls to safeguard financial integrity, including the development and implementation of action plans to address any identified areas for improvement.
- Audit Support: Contribute to the preparation of materials and documentation required for internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are readily available and compliant with audit standards.
- Finance Support: Provide necessary financial insights and support to optimize financial processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Address various ad hoc requests and tasks as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Account reconciliation: Prepare reconciliation of assets and liabilities and others, as required
- Implementation of new accounting policies
- Creating robust documentation, continuously updating it, storing and sharing it with the team and the direct manager
- Contribution to finance department projects on digitization and automation of process workflows and accounting flows
- Provide excellent customer service with the ability to build productive relationships and resolve complex issues
- Assisting the department with other financial functions as requested by the line manager
- Perform other tasks and projects as necessary and applicable to the team or as assigned by line manager
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: min 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within audit or a financial services environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements related to reporting and taxation.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, especially in a shared service context.
