JOB TITLE: Manager, PSR & BCOBS, Retail Risk Specialist (12 month FTC)
SALARY: £65,385 - £79,915
LOCATION(S): Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Newport, Edinburgh, Halifax
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least
two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this opportunity
The Manager, PSR and BCOBS plays a pivotal role in supporting one of the UK’s largest financial services transformations. We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join the Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk (CCOR) team within the Risk Division, as we accelerate delivery across the Group’s transformation journey.
You’ll bring expertise in compliance, customer impact and change delivery. Confident stakeholder engagement is key and your ability to influence and support decision-makers will help ensure the delivery of good customer outcomes, aligned with Consumer Duty and Group standards.
Day to day, you will:
Works with Risk and Control owner teams to provide Conduct & Compliance Risk support and help deliver against aligned customer, business and strategic outcomes.
Assists with the development and implementation of effective, ongoing data-led Conduct & Compliance Risk control objectives to meet the needs or risk and control owners, control specialist teams, Audit and external regulators.
Advocating for customers through concise, commercially sensitive advice to business areas on policy interpretation and regulations, utilising deep compliance expertise to co-create fantastic compliant solutions for customers and the Group working closely with the business
Oversighting and supporting the delivery of new products and initiatives to meet the needs of risk and control owners, control specialist teams, Audit and external regulators. to
Integral part of ensuring Group projects and initiatives succeed through supportive, business focused challenge.

What you’ll need:
Experience in UK regulations that impact Retail Products and Payments with a specific focus on: the Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS), Payment Services Regulations (PSRs), Product Intervention and Product Governance Sourcebook (PROD), and the Consumer Duty regulations.
Good understanding of the latest Compliance frameworks and technology, industry standards and established best practice to enable you to play a key role in a specialist risk centre of excellence.
Expert drafting skills with expertise in preparing concise reports for senior level audiences, with clarity and precision.
Exacting standards and ruthless attention to detail.
Any previous experience of business partnering within a Retail Specialist role would be useful.
