[What the role is]
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in the outdoors and with people.[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the team based on Pulau Ubin and will be conducting ecological and wildlife surveys, analysing data and conducting outreach programmes involving stakeholders. Other parts of the job would include wildlife monitoring, habitat assessment, and data collection for conservation initiatives. You are also required to support the team in their operations including weekend duty, inspections and public engagement activities.
[What we are looking for]
• Areas of Studies in Ecology, Life Sciences, or science-related discipline
• Experience with GIS is preferable
• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• An organised, creative and resourceful team player who is able to work independently
• Enjoy working outdoor and has a keen interest in nature conservation
• Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
