What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department to achieve organizational goals.
- Actively share knowledge and expertise within the department to foster a collaborative environment.
- Identify and implement potential improvements in processes or products, taking calculated risks to develop innovative ideas.
- Solve moderately complex problems within the department and assist with issues outside the department when necessary.
- Oversee operational activities to support the department's short-term goals and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Recognize and address the development needs of team members, collaborating to create and execute development plans.
- Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex concepts effectively, solicit input, and persuade others to adopt a point of view while sharing your own rationale.
- Oversee production cost centers and lead production teams, ensuring product quality and performance are on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with quality, production, procurement, suppliers, and forwarding agents to maintain supply continuity and prepare for audits, while leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost efficiency, safety, and cycle time.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to contribute to and lead project teams
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience in managing multiple projects and ongoing work activities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, cGMPs, and company policies
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
- Master's degree with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience in providing technical leadership while working remotely
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures
- Experience in fostering both behavioral and technical growth within an organization
- Strong collaboration skills
- Experience in setting objectives and forecasting resource needs
- Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This role includes lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis.
The identified candidate must be able to gown into aseptic areas.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
This role may require night and weekend support to support a 24/7 plant operation.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $116 000,00 to $193 400,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15,0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
