The Client Reporting Services Group within Client Operations has an open position for a manager based out of the Boston office overseeing the Fixed Income Product Reporting Team. Specifically, the manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of analysts aligned by asset class who will be responsible for maintaining and producing standard product-related marketing and client materials as well as customized client reporting. The Product Reporting team broadly is expected to develop expertise in the approaches they cover and are expected to understand the portfolio’s outlook, process, positioning, strategy, and the current market environment. The team will be closely aligned with Product Management and serve as internal subject matter experts to the Client Group and Global Operations broadly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Oversee a team of analysts, seniors, and leads within the Product Reporting function globally owning all facets of talent management for the team: recruiting, goal setting, career management, promotions, compensation, performance reviews, and hands-on mentoring.
Partner with Product Management, Client Group, and various teams within Client Ops to ensure reporting requirements and practices are supported by the global workflow, processes, and technology
Partner with global reporting managers, to evaluate the reporting needs, required resources, and collaborate with the other CRS teams to optimally allocate work
Provide oversight to ensure that best practices, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards are implemented across client reporting materials
Develop and oversee standard reports library and own governance around segmentation
Provide oversight and ownership of Business Assessment Monitoring (BAM) process representing Client Reporting
Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy and scalability
Provide ongoing oversight of GDP work and partner with Accenture managers on finding efficiencies and optimally allocating work between onshore and offshore team members
Evaluate the existing team structure, capacity, and responsibilities and develop and long-term strategy for future of the reporting team
Collaborate with various subject matter experts on the development of new reporting in strategic growth areas of the firm
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Substantial (10+ years) experience at an asset management firm, with experience managing large teams
Ability to quickly learn the reporting function and develop asset class and product knowledge
Demonstrated track record of innovation, change management, creativity, efficiency, and problem solving
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a changing and collaborative environment
Positive and solutions-oriented mindset
Attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills
An MBA and/or CFA preferred

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:
USD 120,000 - 225,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
