Key Responsibility :

The key responsibility of the incumbent is to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the product program implementation process by managing the cross functional project teams to achieve company’s desired objective. This person is expected to support for the assigned tasks, assist to drive and manage the execution of functional business’ deliverables which contributes to the implementation of product delivery. Assist to introduce process improvement for greater efficiency is expected to ensure all stakeholders’ interest are safeguarded. Life product knowledge is advantage but not compulsory, assist to draw connections between different process and stakeholders to ensure overall objectives are achieved.

Job Description:

  • To manage the end-to-end delivery of the assigned product and/or project implementation, within the agreed parameters pre-determined by superior.

  • Initiate and engage key stakeholders to plan, formulize and execute collectively agreed strategies for product/project implementation.

  • Assist to introduce process improvement between relevant departments involved at different stages of product/project implementation process.

  • To manage Product Implementation Working Group (PIWG) for end-to-end product implementation cycles, capacity planning, communication and launch plan for all distribution channel with the objective of successful implementation of assigned project/product within the targeted launch timeline.

  • To initiate issues-resolution arising from the assigned project to expedite the entire implementation cycle

  • To manage, communicates and collate collectively agreed product related issues/decisions for the upwards escalation to superior as and when required and/or Product Steering Committee for endorsement, if applicable.

  • Identify risks to deliverables; develop and implement mitigation actions and/or plans.

  • Performs any ad-hoc assignment/projects as assigned by superior.

  • To manage UAT activities by consolidating various systems testing timeline, managing UAT resources and testers, and ensuring the UAT activities are executed according to plan.

  • To manage and ensure completion of Day-2 deliverables as per stipulated timeline

Job Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized University preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Insurance Studies, Actuarial Science, etc.

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years working experience

  • Experience in Life Insurance Industry with basic operational knowledge in Life Administration, Insurance Products, Agency Administration & Finance would be an added advantage.

  • Strong drive, people oriented and the ability to influence others

  • Detailed and task-oriented, organized, systematic, analytical thinking and the ability to connect the dots with the end-to-end picture in mind

  • Persuasive, strong in communication and able to interacts with all levels.

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision

  • A self-starter, responsible and good team player

  • Strong product knowledge with operational background and result-oriented would be added advantage

  • Good business acumen and able to appreciate business perspective

  • Those with business planning and project management background would be an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Microsoft excel and Power Point skills are crucial in performing this job well
