Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience managing the operational components of the Canadian privacy regulatory framework, in particular provincial-specific health law requirements.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to work with a broad range of business stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate privacy concepts to a variety of audiences, educate stakeholders on privacy practices, and report on privacy matters to management.

- Advanced skills with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project preferred.
- Leads the implementation of the global Privacy Governance Framework for Innomar Strategies, a Canadian healthcare company.
- Conducts risk assessments, identifies controls or mitigations and works with stakeholders to embed across the enterprise.
- Handles day-to-day privacy operations including incident management, mailbox monitoring, 3rd party due diligence, data protection queries, and cookie management
- Delivers Data Subject Access Requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Leads Written Standards, training and controls to embed the Privacy Governance Framework
- Monitors and oversees the implementation of the Privacy Governance Framework. Uses data to understand the effectiveness, identify pain points and drive action.
- Partners with the business to deliver complex projects
- Provides SME support to stakeholders
- Works as part of the Global Privacy Operations Team and collaborates effectively with Privacy Legal and the Office of Compliance and Legal
- Performs related duties as assigned
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Post secondary degree in science, management or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
- 3-5 years’ of working experience in Privacy Operations, preferably within a complex healthcare environment.
- Knowledge in and the ability to apply the principles of project management and change management.
- Certificate in CIPP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian privacy laws and knowledge of international laws and privacy trends.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Bilingual (French & English) considered an asset.
- Experience working in a legal environment an asset.
