Job Description:
The US Partnerships team is responsible for all elements of strategic partnerships for the dentsu Media practice in the US. The team sits at the intersection of dentsu’s media agencies (Carat, iProspect and dentsuX), clients, investment and activation communities, and Amplifi, the commercial innovation arm for dentsu. The team is responsible for translating the business needs of dentsu’s clients, the strategic and commercial imperatives of dentsu itself, as well as emergent and established trends across the industry and society into strategic, value-driven, and beneficial partnerships. They also set the strategic agenda for partnerships for dentsu in the marketplace, in new business and in product/solution design within dentsu.
This role will primarily be responsible for platform related partners, i.e. DSPs, SSPs, digital direct, AI-powered and more.
Role Purpose:
The Manager, Partnerships-Platforms will report into the Director of Platform Partnerships and manage relationships across platform partners. You will support all aspects of partnership operations and management across their adjacent media channels including - supporting the creation of partnership strategy for their specialism, ensuring excellence in execution of assigned partnerships, including negotiating and delivering partnership agreements, managing communications with assigned partners and ensuring partnerships delivery against core objectives. The manager will also be tasked with creating and distributing internal resources and communications with the support of the Director and VP, Partnerships. The Manager will work with the team to ensure their core responsibilities contribute towards a cohesive Partnership strategy and vision for dentsu.
This role aligns across several departments within dentsu – including technology, media, investment, innovation, activation, trading and planning therefore an ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create solutions for all is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship management across key partnerships
Manage day-to-day needs and communications of the partnerships, ensuring excellence in execution with team support
Distribution of pertinent information to the correct stakeholders internally and externally
Own various reporting needs
Support team leadership to execute strategic vision
Be a subject-matter-expert in assigned specialism within the Partnership team
Work closely with Investment, Activation, and Amplifi (trading) to ensure partnership approach meets the needs of our clients and aligns to dentsu standards
Inform and educate Investment & Activation teams on partner new and updated deal details
Support the creation and execution of dentsu and partner agreements
Be seen as an integrator and problem solver both internally and externally driving partners and maintaining on-time engagement across several variables
Support on client business where needed to build custom partnership plans and subject-matter-expertise of partner landscape.
Participate in new business as subject-matter-expert in specialism and/or Partnership leader on value proposition for potential client.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (marketing, advertising, business, communications preferred)
4+ years' experience within the media industry as a partnership or investment member
2+ years' experience in leading a team
Consistent and exceptional project management
Ability to properly delegate tasks to staff to ensure appropriate utilization, multitask and keep deadlines
Thoughtful verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills
MSFT product suite expertise (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Ability to retain professionalism in all situations
Team player with “go- getter” attitude
Passion for problem-solving and collaboration across teams
Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions
Regarded externally as a reliable, dependable colleague and business partner

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
