As a SMAI Planning & Ops Planning Digital Twin Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver business value through advanced analytics and data-driven solutions. This role focuses on strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of data science initiatives that support operational excellence and innovation, particularly in the semiconductor industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop and deploy smart manufacturing applications to optimize capex efficiency and transforming planning process
  • Influence and develop data science AI, ML applications to identify critical business needs and opportunities, quantify the business impact and prescribe actions to maximize output efficiency and optimize cycle time performance
  • Integrate solutions and applications cross production planning, IE planning, supply chain departments to deliver robust, scalable, effective and efficient solutions enable high business value
  • Oversee the end to end build, development and deployment of smart manufacturing applications, provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance during the lifecycle. Assist in the troubleshooting of escalated application issues and provide solutions and/or coaching for resolution
  • Drive project execution through cross functional collaboration, effectively manage stakeholders  and ensure strong engagement
  • Champion the adoption and scaling of solutions across the network, promoting standardization and continuous improvement
  • Evaluate third-party software, hardware, vendor selection, if appropriate.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in semiconductor industry, Planning, Supply Chain, Operation Research, or equivalent sector
  • Prior knowledge in data science is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills , strong communication skills, excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Results oriented, with a growth mindset and strong dedication to identify and implement improvement opportunities
