Manager, People Transformation & Enablement - The Auto Club Group

What you will do:

The Manager, Transformation & Enablement is a player-coach leader responsible for delivering enterprise change enablement and internal consulting support that improves adoption, leader follow-through, and measurable workforce outcomes. This role translates enterprise priorities into a focused consulting portfolio, leads structured problem diagnosis and solution design, and ensures interventions are implemented with reinforcement rather than treated as one-time launches. The Manager oversees consultants who support retention initiatives, EVP activation, leader enablement, and transformation efforts, and partners closely with Culture & Experience and Organizational Intelligence to align solutions to evidence and embed adoption mechanisms across the operating model.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Transformation & Enablement portfolio, translating enterprise priorities into a sequenced consulting plan with clear scope, owners, and success measures.
  • Deliver and oversee structured consulting engagements, including diagnosis, facilitation, solution design, implementation support, and reinforcement.
  • Ensure retention and experience initiatives include clear leader expectations, practical tools, and accountability mechanisms that increase follow-through.
  • Partner with Culture & Experience to align change enablement with culture systems and communications, reducing duplication and noise.
  • Partner with Organizational Intelligence to translate insights into targeted recommendations, pilots, and scale decisions.
  • Establish adoption and reinforcement approaches for major initiatives, including leader routines, enablement pathways, and measurement of follow-through.
  • Manage and develop consultants, setting quality standards for executive-ready outputs and practical implementation support.
  • Maintain intake, prioritization, and portfolio governance discipline so the team focuses on the highest-impact work.
  • Identify risks to adoption and execution, and coordinate mitigation plans with stakeholders across HR and the business.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Leads team of professionals. Ensure adherence to corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures.

II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, I-O Psychology, Business, or a related field

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in change management, internal consulting, organizational effectiveness, transformation delivery, or related work required.
  • Leading structured internal consulting engagements end‑to‑end
  • Building and managing an intake/prioritization process and portfolio governance
  • Designing adoption and reinforcement approaches

Knowledge of:

  • Enterprise change enablement, internal consulting, and transformation delivery practices that drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
  • Leader enablement, behavior change, and accountability mechanisms that ensure sustained follow‑through beyond launch.
  • Organizational development and coaching principles applied to leader effectiveness, retention, and employee experience.
  • Translating workforce insights into targeted recommendations, pilots, and scalable enablement and reinforcement solutions.

Skills & Ability:

  • Strong consulting toolkit, including problem framing, facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and executive-ready synthesis.
  • Ability to design for adoption and reinforcement, not just launch delivery.
  • Strong partnership skills across HR and business stakeholders, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Measurement orientation, including adoption indicators, pilot evaluation, and continuous improvement.

III. Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of people leadership or team lead experience.

  • Experience driving adoption across distributed organizations and frontline populations preferred.

  • Prior experience with enterprise change management within AI.

  • Advising senior leadership on change management strategies for workflow redesign.

  • Facilitating discussions with executive leadership.

IV. Work Environment

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy. However, the position spends a varying amount of time traveling to meet with branch management and agents, which involves exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes during travel.
