A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, no weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage the daily operations of the patient registration and access functions.
Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards and objectives that directly support the organization's strategic plan and vision.
Manage caregiver relations, including performance management, caregiver satisfaction and conflict management.
Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagement.
Monitor department budgets, regulatory compliance, department contracts and vendor relations.
Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
Five years of experience in healthcare or customer service management OR finance, HIS, IT or nursing supervisory experience in a high-volume facility
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Additional fellowship or internship level experience preferred but not required
Registration workflow experience
Familiarity with operational audits and scheduling
Experience with EPIC
ED registration experience
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented
Strong adaptability and resilience
Conflict resolution skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
