This is a hybrid position that requires regular in-office work. Candidates must reside in the greater Vancouver–Portland metropolitan area.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will manage and lead the Audigy Bookkeeping Services (ABS) Team. The manager will develop strategy, ensure profitability, and create processes that provide exceptional and accurate deliverables along with the highest caliber of service to our member clients. This individual is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and facilitator in the planning, development, and implementation of systems and processes that contribute to the growth of the bookkeeping department. The successful candidate will exemplify operational excellence by fostering a culture of cross-functional accountability, collaboration, and education, and by continually delivering on company and member expectations. The Manager of Bookkeeping Services will provide solutions and communicate effectively with key strategic partners, the bookkeeping team, its member clients and Audigy leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing bookkeeping team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and uphold standards and processes that ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of bookkeeping services delivered to Audigy members
  • Partner cross-functionally — primarily with Strategic Business Unit Finance Managers — to deliver seamless, high-quality bookkeeping support
  • Oversee departmental financial performance, ensuring profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Define and execute the long-term vision, goals, and development road map for the bookkeeping function
  • Identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and implement scalable solutions to drive operational efficiency and business impact
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Audigy members by consulting, presenting, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of their organizations
  • Operate as a hands-on leader, in both strategic planning and the successful execution of key initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with members and their CPAs to ensure alignment, accuracy, and compliance as needed
  • Serve as a strong ambassador for the department, representing bookkeeping services with professionalism both internally and externally
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes that safeguard the integrity and accuracy of member financial records
  • Optimize team scheduling and workflow management to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of services
  • Audit member books to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, professional financial product
  • Partner with senior leadership to track, manage, and achieve profitability targets and key performance metrics
  • Review and submit billing accurately and on time in coordination with internal accounting teams
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives
  • Travel to member practices as needed to support relationship building and service delivery
  • Contribute to company events by creating and delivering content that promotes back-office best practices

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • CPA designation preferred, or bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)

Experience

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated hands-on bookkeeping experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years managing accounting functions across multiple clients or entities

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid work environment (Monday and Wednesday required in-office, with occasional additional days as necessary for meetings and events)
  • Full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • This salaried leadership role may require occasional flexibility outside of standard business hours to support team and business priorities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. This position will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
