Manager, Solutions Engineering 

  • Entegris is seeking a Materials Solutions Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the MSE team at the Korean Technology Center (KTC) and collaborate closely with our customer-facing team (Sales and Fab Technology Engineers), R&D team, Cleanroom team, Quality and Manufacturing Engineer teams to lead the development and transfer of innovative CMP solutions to our customers.   

  • To be successful in this role, you must be a committed person with strong leadership and extensive experience in the area of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) and semiconductor industry.   You will need strong business acumen with strategic and logical thinking skills to lead and influence the solution development strategy within the MSE team and across different global functions. 

In this role you will: 

  • Lead the MSE team to utilize existing resources efficiently and collaborate with multi-functional teams to achieve customers’ adoption of our CMP solutions  

  • Lead the MSE team to prioritize, plan, execute, and summarize CMP cleanroom experiments  

  • Provide clear guidance on project focuses for the MSE team and reallocate resources effectively based on project needs     

  • Drive the MSE team to communicate key learning and conclusions to internal partners and customers clearly with accuracy and agility  

  • Lead the MSE team to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions and CMP consumable test methodologies to accelerate product development and customer adoption progress   

  • Grow the MSE team and develop team members with expert knowledge about leading-edge CMP technology and products  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

Education  

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical subject area (chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related field) is required. An advanced degree is preferred.  

  • Knowledge in CMP or related IC device manufacturing or technology development is required

  • Expertise in the area of CMP and semiconductor device integration schemes
