We are looking for an experienced and result oriented M&A Manager interested in shaping and accelerating the corporate strategic agenda through M&A.
The team you will be part of
At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will report to the Head of M&A, Kasper Binder.
As part of GN’s M&A team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the execution of exciting transactions and strategic projects of higher complex nature across GN’s three divisions: Hearing, Enterprise, and Gaming. You will be involved throughout the deal cycle – from initial sourcing of potential targets to integration planning.
You will be exposed to wide-ranging deal types and structures from minority positions in start-ups and scale-ups to larger scale bolt-on and transformational acquisitions.
In this multifaceted role, you will not only enhance your skills within M&A, finance, strategy, and business development but it will also be a potential steppingstone to an exciting fast-tracked corporate career in GN should you have aspirations to venture out of M&A at a later stage.
Supporting GN’s M&A strategy
You will be responsible for executing complex transactions globally with emphasis on the following tasks:
Lead and coordinate M&A transactions from initiation to completion.
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence.
Develop financial models and valuation assessments.
Structure and negotiate deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
Accelerate Hearing, Enterprise and Gaming strategy by sourcing investments through target screening.
Prepare investment recommendations for executive management and Board of Directors.
Lead ad hoc strategic projects of financial nature.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:
A master’s degree within finance or economics where you graduated in the top quartile.
Approx. 4 years of experience from an investment bank, private equity firm, corporate M&A team or transaction services.
Analytical and negotiation skills.
The ability to work well with others and demonstrate great communication and stakeholder management skills.
Eye on the details and possess a solution-oriented and intellectually curious mindset.
Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills.
The ability to communicate fluently in Danish and English – spoken and written.
