DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Logistics Specialist III and contribute to global science and healthcare. In this role, you'll manage global inventory valued at $140M-165M across an extensive network of warehouses, working with planning software like Servigistics. You'll partner with teams worldwide to ensure optimal spare parts availability, implement improvement initiatives, and deliver excellent customer service. Your planning and analytical skills will be valuable in managing forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency while supporting our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in high-tech service environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Proficiency in statistical forecasting, inventory management, and project management
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with large datasets
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Servigistics) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages beneficial
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Collaborative skills for working with global cross-functional teams
• Experience in transportation coordination and logistics network optimization
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in improvement initiatives and process optimization
• Project management expertise
• Detail-oriented with analytical approach
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required for business needs
