Dynamics of the Role
This role is central to driving modernization efforts across the organization. The Program Manager will serve as a strategic anchor for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of critical programs. The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of technology, finance, and regulatory landscapes. Without this role, modernization timelines may slip, regulatory risks could escalate, and financial, project, and operational planning may lack cohesion.
What You'll Bring:
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Regulatory Remediation Oversight
• Manage and track remediation efforts for Regulatory observations, ensuring timely closure and compliance with regulatory standards. Liaise with internal audit, compliance, and external regulators to maintain transparency and accountability.
Responsibility 2: Strategic Planning & Financial Governance
• Oversee Capex-Opex tracking and support the development of the 3-Year Plan (3YP). Ensure financial discipline and alignment of investments with strategic priorities. Provide insights and reporting to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
Responsibility 3: Agile Planning & Execution
• Track PI (Program Increment) planning across the department, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines. Facilitate agile ceremonies and support teams in resolving dependencies and blockers.
Responsibility 4: Cloud Transition & Service Reliability
• Facilitate the transition to GCP (Google Cloud Platform), ensuring compliance with regulatory and process standards. Drive initiatives to improve service reliability across client-facing systems and monitor strategic programs from Mancom and ITSC.
Responsibility 5: Modernization Program Governance
• Provide program-level oversight for the API Gateway & Authentication stack migration initiative through 2026. Ensure effective tracking of milestones, interdependence, and risks. Facilitate stakeholder alignment, maintain governance routines, and support timely decision-making to keep modernization efforts on schedule and within scope.
Impact You'll Make:
Experience and Skills
• Qualification: Bachelors in IT/CSE
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology domain, including at least 5+ years in a leadership role as an Application Owner or Technical Lead, overseeing large-scale enterprise applications
• Travel: Flexibility to travel as needed
• Leadership: Executive presence and assertiveness
• Work Style: Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations, and exercise judgment in a variety of scenarios
• Communication: Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills
• Execution: High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination, and tenaciously looking for ways to get results
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
