Your Mission:
The Manager, Human Resources provides strategic and operational HR leadership in partnership with business leaders to support organizational effectiveness and colleague engagement. This role leads HR team members and serves as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The position ensures consistent application of HR policies and practices aligned with business objectives and applicable employment laws.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Partners with senior and functional leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned to business priorities, workforce needs, and organizational goals.
- Manages, coaches, and develops HR team members, including performance management, goal setting, and professional development.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
- Oversees complex employee relations matters, including investigations, resolution strategies, and representation in unemployment hearings.
- Provides guidance to leaders on performance management, corrective action, and consistent application of policies and practices.
- Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies; partners with Legal and other stakeholders to mitigate people related risk.
- Leads the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Collaborates with Payroll, Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Immigration, and external vendors to deliver effective HR services.
- Analyzes HR metrics, trends, and colleague feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement strategies.
- Supports leadership development, training initiatives, engagement efforts, and culture initiatives across the organization.
- Ensures consistent and compliant execution of the performance management process across the organization, reinforcing standards and timelines.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment and discretion in all sensitive employee and employment‑related matters.
- Oversees external HR vendors and service providers to ensure service quality, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Prepares and delivers HR reports, metrics, and insights to support leadership decision‑making and risk mitigation.
- Assesses organizational capability gaps and recommends targeted development, training, or organizational solutions.
- Facilitates or oversees compliance‑related and leadership training programs to support regulatory adherence and capability building.
- Evaluates, builds and implements change management strategies, including effective communication plans to drive commitment and adoption.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive human resources experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising staff or teams.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment and labor laws.
- Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRMCP, or SHRMSCP).
- Experience supporting global or international HR operations, including cross border collaboration.
- Experience with U.S. immigration processes and documentation.
Working Conditions
Regular exposure to sensitive and complex employee relations matters requiring discretion and sound judgment. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
