Department Description

The HRIS function provides systems support and configuration services to the Fidelity International business, globally, which include the development and operational management of business applications that underpin our service functions.  The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day to day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation. The HR systems team work collaboratively across various geographic locations to maintain and enhance in-house developed application and vendor provided products

About your the Role

As a Talent and Learning Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling the organisation’s people strategy by ensuring our talent and learning platforms are effective, user-friendly, and continuously improving. You will focus on configuring, maintaining, and supporting systems, helping HR and business stakeholders deliver seamless talent, learning, and development experiences.

In this role, you will work closely with HR, Talent, and Tech teams to understand requirements, resolve issues, and translate business needs into practical system solutions. You will support enhancements, testing, and rollouts, while promoting best practices and data integrity across our platforms. Your contribution will be instrumental in optimising how employees learn, grow, and progress in the organisation through well-managed, reliable talent and learning systems. 

About you

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience managing & maintaining enterprise Talent, Skills & Learning platforms in any major core systems; preferably Workday Talent / Skills modules.
  • Ability to translate talent and learning needs into system requirements, workflows and configurations.
  • Familiarity with integrations between HRIS, talent marketplace / learning platforms and content providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to simplify or enhance processes and user experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working with HR, IT, business leaders and external vendors.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working and tools like JIRA, Confluence and similar.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey information succinctly and engagingly to large audiences
  • (Optional) Experience with Learning applications Cornerstone LMS, Eightfold etc
