Kyndryl

Senior Organization Change Management Consultant

Toronto (KCA51701) HQ Full time

Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

The Senior Manager, Workforce Transformation will lead and oversee the delivery of end‑to‑end workforce strategies and plans for client engagements. This includes assessing current workforce skills and roles against future strategic priorities, designing skills‑based job architectures, and building tailored learning pathways that enable employees and leaders to adopt AI-enabled ways of working.

The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with client HR/People & Culture, business sponsors, and technology teams to co‑create practical interventions—leadership engagement routines, communication strategies, culture activation moments, and talent mobility programs—that systematically build capability and confidence. The role contributes to proposals and executive presentations and helps maintain and evolve Kyndryl’s Workforce Transformation frameworks (e.g., skills‑based transformation, competency mapping, and learning academies).

Additionally, the Senior Manager will support internal people change initiatives and participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions to advance the maturity of Workforce Transformation practices across the organization, including embedding a Value Realization Office mindset—defining benefits, instrumentation, and feedback loops to demonstrate adoption and outcomes.

In this role, you will

  • Assess and design the workforce of the future: Lead discovery to analyze current roles, skills, and operating models; design future‑state organization and role architectures; create skills taxonomies and competency frameworks; and map pathways for talent mobility.

  • Build career and upskilling plans: Create individualized and cohort learning journeys (academies, micro‑learning, on‑the‑job application) using a skills‑based approach; align learning content to business outcomes and culture objectives.

  • Facilitate leadership engagement and culture work: Establish sponsor coalitions, leadership roundtables, and storytelling programs to build trust in AI, reduce resistance, and reinforce desired behaviors.

  • Advise on organization design through AI evolution: Recommend operating models (human‑in‑the‑loop), role redesign, AI governance and enablement practices, and workforce guardrails that align with business strategy and technology roadmaps.

  • Stand up value realization: Define measurable outcomes (e.g., adoption, proficiency, productivity, quality), instrument benefits tracking, and run cadence reviews to course‑correct and prove ROI.

  • Drive proposal and IP development: Contribute to client proposals, executive briefings, and thought leadership; enhance our playbooks, templates, and accelerators for Workforce Transformation.

You will collaborate to

Ensure smooth implementation by partnering with HR/People & Culture, Communications, and Technology teams—linking workforce goals to tech enablement and AI use cases—while developing proposals and executive materials for new opportunities. Internally, you will maintain and evolve Workforce Transformation tools, templates, and methodologies and contribute to the maturation of practice assets (e.g., skills mapping, talent marketplace, learning academies).
