Leads the company’s Health & Safety management by analyzing safety performance and driving improvements, with a focus on reducing process and road safety risks. Oversees the implementation of the Road Safety mid-term action plan, ensuring effective execution and timely identification of any deviations as the designated Road Safety Process Owner.
Cultivates a strong Health and Safety culture by partnering with employees to implement impactful initiatives and ensuring the company’s Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained
Manages Health & Safety performance using key KPIs, benchmarking, and collaboration with the Executive Team to improve safety and mitigate risks. Conducts regular safety audits, identifies concerns, and ensures prompt corrective actions.
Develops and maintains Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensures effective communication to staff, and guarantees compliance with all applicable regulations. Coordinates annual Health & Safety Management, Review Meetings and assists facility managers with Health & Safety planning.
Ensures full compliance with Canadian federal and provincial Health & Safety regulations by developing and maintaining policies and systems that foster a proactive safety culture. Serves as the legal representative on Joint Health and Safety Committees, collaborating to identify hazards, investigate incidents, and promote continuous improvement.
Supports training programs, including Health & Safety inductions for employees, customers, and contractors. Oversees accident investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence
Maintains emergency preparedness plans and training across all sites. Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) knowledge is up-to-date for relevant personnel and emergency teams. Regularly communicates Health & Safety updates, KPIs, and achievements throughout the organization.
Technical or management degree, or equivalent credentials.
Management experience in healthcare operations, logistics or industrial sector.
A healthcare degree would be a plus.
Workplace Setting:
Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Based both in the office and the field, with frequent travel to regional offices and branches.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualification and other job-related reasons. This job grade falls within a salary band starting at the minimum of $80,000 with opportunity for advancement.
