Position Summary
You will lead global compensation benchmarking for GSK from India, ensuring accurate market data and fair pay decisions. You will work closely with regional compensation teams, external survey vendors, and the Global Compensation and Benefits (C&B) team. - Drive the annual benchmarking calendar for assigned countries and business groups to deliver timely, high-quality market data.
- Manage market data intake, validation and uploads to systems such as Workday and CompSource, ensuring audit-quality data.
- Liaise with benchmarking vendors to resolve data issues, manage survey submissions, and support global data agreements.
- Prepare benchmarking insights and trend reports for regional compensation teams and the Reward centre of excellence.
- Support job matching, salary range development and re-benchmarking after reorganisations or business changes.
- Train and support compensation colleagues and stakeholders on benchmarking tools, reports and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure benchmarking minimum standards and governance are applied consistently across markets.
- Coordinate with regional service centres and HR business partners to address benchmarking queries and hotspot risks.
- Manage ad hoc global and business-specific data requests with timely and accurate delivery.
- Support compensation equity reviews and salary management processes with validated market data.
- Maintain relationships with external survey vendors, including PO and contract coordination in collaboration with the Global C&B Benchmarking Lead.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of benchmarking processes, tools and data quality controls.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, HR, or related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in compensation, reward, or people analytics functions.
- Strong experience with benchmarking surveys and market data management.
- Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems for compensation data.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in data validation, reporting and presentation.
- Ability to collaborate across regions and manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Advanced degree or certification in HR, compensation or analytics.
- Experience administering CompSource, Mercer Gold or similar compensation platforms.
- Prior experience working in a global matrix environment or large multinational organisation.
- Project management experience, including managing vendor relationships and purchase order processes.
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex data simply to non-specialist audiences.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with some days expected on-site in India and others remote.
Working model and location
- This role is based in India and will operate as a hybrid role. Expect a mix of on-site collaboration and remote work.
- You will work with global and regional colleagues in differing time zones, demonstrating flexibility and clear communication.
