Financial technology is a high-growth industry as change and innovation continue to disrupt the status-quo and prompt major transformation. Arcesium is at a particularly interesting time in our own growth as we look to leverage our successfully established market position and expand operations in pursuit of strategic new business opportunities. We value intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration with colleagues, and we empower you to meaningfully contribute from day one and accelerate your professional development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As the HC Business Partner for Bengaluru, you will be the primary Location Business Partner for Arcesium’s Bengaluru office— responsible for end to end employee experience, from onboarding to engagement to culture. In this role you will bring a structured, data-informed approach to everything you do, using Power BI reporting and AI tools to sharpen insights and improve the quality of decisions. If you are someone who cares deeply about employee experience, thinks in patterns and data, and wants to work in a team that is actively reimagining how HR operates, this is the role for you.

Location HR Business Partnering

  • Serve as the go-to HR partner for employees at the Bengaluru office, addressing people-related queries with speed and empathy
  • Build and maintain a strong pulse of the location — tracking culture, morale, and team dynamics and surfacing structured insights to leadership
  • Design, plan, and execute employee engagement initiatives that foster community, belonging, and motivation at the location level
  • Conduct regular employee connects - one-on-ones, focus groups — and translate qualitative inputs into actionable themes
  • Track and improve employee engagement and satisfaction scores; drive initiatives specifically aimed at improving collaboration effectiveness
  • Act as a change agent — challenge existing processes and recommend improvements that make HR more agile and impactful

Reporting & Analytics

  • Own and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that track key people metrics across talent, engagement, and location effectiveness
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources into clean, leader-ready reports and visualizations
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort in HC reporting - building smarter trackers and automating recurring outputs where possible

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Experience & Background

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, with meaningful exposure to an HR Business Partner role in a fast-paced, knowledge-intensive environment
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing employee engagement programmes — not just coordinating activities, but owning outcomes
  • Experience working with data and reporting as part of the HR function — not as a technical specialist, but as someone who uses data to tell stories and support decisions

Technical Skills

  • Power BI — mandatory: must be able to build, maintain, and interpret dashboards independently; not mandatory but preferred – knowledge of DAX basics preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfortable handling large datasets, pivot tables, and creating clean executive-ready decks
  • Working knowledge of AI tools for professional use — including prompt engineering basics and use of Claude for drafting, analysis, and synthesis

Competencies & Mindset

  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to engage credibly with senior leaders and build trusted relationships across functions and levels
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; skilled at creating structured communications for varied audiences
  • Analytically inclined: you translate numbers and feedback into clear narratives, not just reports
  • Self-starter with high ownership — you do not wait to be told; you identify gaps, propose solutions, and follow through
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change; able to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality
  • Collaborative team player who also works well independently and manages upward effectively
