PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This position is responsible for leading the development, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis processes that support executive decision-making. This role partners closely with the Vice President of Finance and Digital Solutions leadership to enable data-driven insights, scalable planning processes, and long-term value creation.

 

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in building and advancing enterprise capabilities, including driver-based forecasting, investment planning, and performance visibility across the organization. While the Vice President of Finance serves as the primary interface with the Executive Team, this role is accountable for developing the underlying analyses, tools, and processes that inform those discussions.

 

This position is located at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Own and lead the enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including standardization and integration across operating units.
  • Develop and advance a driver-based forecasting framework, incorporating key internal and external business drivers to improve predictability and decision-making.
  • Partner with Digital Solutions leadership to develop the Rite-Hite ONE (RH One) business case, including ownership of the long-term financial model and ongoing refinement as the strategy evolves.
  • Lead enterprise capital planning and investment analysis, including evaluation of strategic initiatives, tracking performance against commitments, and improving transparency into returns.
  • Enhance enterprise margin and cost structure analysis, including pricing effectiveness, commercial program performance, and SG&A investment efficiency.
  • Establish and evolve enterprise performance dashboarding and KPI frameworks, connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers; partner closely with cross-functional leaders to improve data availability, quality, and insights.
  • Develop external benchmarking and competitive insights to inform strategic positioning and performance targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports (Sr Financial Analyst & Sr BI Analyst), including setting priorities, managing deliverables, and building capabilities aligned to enterprise needs.
  • Provide high-impact ad hoc analysis and decision support to the Vice President of Finance and senior leadership.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 6-8 years of experience in progressive finance roles.
  • 2-4 years previous experience in an FP&A role.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong financial modeling and presentation skills using relevant and modern software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial executive leaders, leverage strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skill, research capabilities and overall business acumen required.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will have two direct reports.
