This role requires associates to work out of the MVH NA West region - Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, or Washington.

Why This Role Matters:

The Manager, Field Facilities will manage the regional team of Hospital Maintenance Technicians, Facility and Medical Equipment Administrators in performing contracted services and preventive and reactive facility repairs in a fast-paced environment.

They will hire and schedule contractors, performing quality control measures and ensuring facility projects and reactive issues are delivered on time and on budget.

You Will:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Manage PetSmart relationships and repairs through escalation paths.
  • Oversee landlord responsible repairs to ensure lease adherence and repair notice communications.
  • Identify and coordinate long term capital equipment and facility asset repairs and replacement strategy.
  • Create, measure and report on team goals and related projects while delivering on schedule, and within budget.
  • Coordinate all aspects of Patch and Paints, Re-lamps, Ceramic Tile Maintenance, Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, and other projects as needed.
  • Interview, hire, train, mentor and review a regionalized team.
  • Manage, measure and report on all repairs including work completion timeline, expenses, and protocol adherence.
  • Develop work schedules to maximize cost savings.
  • Oversee equipment and materials orders as well as invoice and credit process for accepted bids.
  • Oversee hospital repair work to ensure building codes are adhered to and internal quality repair standards are met.
  • Create, understand, and communicate scope of work for all facility repairs; develop procedure for future work.
  • Source, select, and manage painting contractors to complete all paints within region in accordance to practice standards.
  • Manage and report on budget, tracking expenses, approving invoices and travel expense reports.
  • Other job duties as necessary.

Your Experience Should Include:

  • Five years of experience in Facilities Management, Construction, Architecture or Engineering are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction, Architecture, Engineering is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience leading teams with a minimum of three direct reports are required.
  • Working knowledge of drywall repair, paint, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, general building construction, vinyl/tile flooring installation/repair, including familiarity with the tools to perform such tasks is required.
  • Knowledge of current building codes and regulations along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.  

Salary Range: $88,400 - $138,125

Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
