MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

Leads the facilities and maintenance management function, overseeing professional, technical, and administrative teams responsible for reliable operation of the organization’s buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment. The role is accountable for effective short term operations, long term planning, budget ownership, and the development of high performing talent. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develops, implements, and sustains best in class facilities and maintenance management processes that ensure optimal performance of current assets while providing visibility and strategic guidance for future facility needs, including long range planning, capital investment prioritization, and lifecycle optimization. 

  • Oversees Facilities Management operations across Ross Park, Easton, and AP6, managing an annual operational budget of approximately $16MM and coordinating across multiple organizations and functional areas within the AN division. 

  • Ensures reliable operation of buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and established standards for equipment reliability, maintenance execution, and service quality. 

  • Monitors and manages maintenance budgets & capital projects, ensuring effective use of resources and prioritization of spending. 

  • Identifies and drives productivity improvements including new processes, technologies and equipment that systematically enhance maintenance efficiency, asset performance, and facilities management effectiveness. 

  • Leads short term operational and tactical responsibilities in support of equipment uptime, facility readiness, and operational continuity. 

  • Leads long-term Organic Execution Model (OEM) determining capital project prioritization for inclusion in annual Capital Plan.  

  • Minimizes downtime by ensuring timely response to and mitigation of equipment malfunctions. 

  • Builds cohesive, crossfunctional teams capable of supporting the organization’s current and future operational requirements. 

  • Fosters a culture of customer centricity and continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, accountability, and high standards. 

  • Develops a talented team focused on near term priorities and long term facility needs while driving efficiencies and improving overall organizational effectiveness. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent business discipline. 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, engineering project management, and/or budget management. 

  • Proven experience delivering strong results in Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, or related technical leadership roles. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence. 

  • Experience in project leadership, technical leadership, coaching, and change management. 

  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and build networks across diverse functions. 

  • Excellent communication skills to interface with Executive Leadership.  

  • High performer motivated by personal accountability, measurable performance expectations, and organizational impact. 

The base pay for this position is

$129,300.00 – $258,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
