KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Execute Peakon and utilise results to develop employee relations strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Build budget, plan and monitor utilisation for overall engagement activities
  • Lead engagement initiative together with HRBP and TA
  • Manage employee communication via townhalls and other forums/channels

IR/ER Management

  • Address and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Advise HRBP and line managers on disciplinary matters
    • Liaise with IR advisor for complex cases
    • Liaise with Talent Management & Organisational Development Manager to provide training to managers and employees on employee relations, compliance, and ethical conduct.
    • Maintain accurate records of IR issues and compliance activities.

HR Compliance Management:

  • Manage gap analysis for all BNM policy documents, guidelines, circular with impact to HR policy, procedures, practices.
  • Work with HR colleagues to review and update  policies and procedures to reflect current requirements.
  • Conduct regular review to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Ensure HR policies are communicated effectively to all employees and are consistently applied.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • A degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in HR, compliance, People risk or legal

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

  • Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in mediating and resolving workplace conflicts.
  • Policy Development: Ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends and inform decision-making.FWD competencies:
