C.H. Robinson is seeking a dynamic Manager Distribution Center to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled environment. In this role, you will guide teams across receiving, shipping, production, inventory, and quality control to ensure exceptional accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will champion safety, food‑safety compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while managing costs and maximizing performance. You will also play a key role in developing talent, strengthening communication across teams, and driving a positive, collaborative culture. We’re excited to share that we have two openings for this role. We’re hiring for one third‑shift position (10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday) and one first‑shift position (6:30 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Champion and communicate the Distribution Center (DC) Model vision, guiding principles, and strategic objectives.
Oversee receiving, shipping, inventory, and production teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and professional operations.
Maintain strong knowledge of inventory, production processes, quality control, and productivity‑enhancing techniques.
Develop, monitor, and report on operational and financial performance metrics across all service areas.
Ensure all customer service and product quality standards—including condition and food safety—are consistently met or exceeded.
Manage budgets by ensuring cost‑effective operations and resource usage.
Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, equipment usage, and facility upkeep to support safe and reliable operations.
Lead facility safety and sanitation programs to maintain compliance with HAACP, OSHA, Primus, and corporate standards.
Collaborate with DC leadership to implement and maintain standard operating procedures; conduct ongoing gap analysis.
Manage procurement and inventory of supplies, packaging, and raw materials needed for daily operations.
Identify operational improvement opportunities, use metrics to analyze performance, and drive approved changes.
Apply root‑cause problem solving to support continuous process improvement.
Leadership:
Lead distribution center teams to operate efficiently, accurately, and professionally while ensuring staffing levels and schedules align with operational needs.
Maintain strong floor presence to support warehouse staff, promote safety, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
Recruit, select, train, and develop diverse talent; provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support for employee growth.
Set clear role expectations, manage performance, and support merit/equity programs to align compensation with results.
Protect confidentiality and demonstrate integrity when handling sensitive information.
Encourage open, two‑way communication; gather and act on employee feedback to strengthen trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Support employee problem resolution and provide development opportunities, stretch assignments, and mentorship.
Perform additional duties as needed based on team or operational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be at least 18 years old
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, and/or manufacturing operations environment
Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teams
Knowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practices
Proficient computer skills
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work all day in a temperature-controlled environment (as low as 35 degrees)
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to motivate and inspire high performing teams
Proven history of delivering detail oriented, accurate and organized results under pressure
Demonstrates the desire and capacity to operate in an entrepreneurial, multi-task environment

Compensation Range
$84,700.00 - $133,900.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
